We did our first Friday back at the end of October 2005 and started out with a selection of simple Makeup Bags, Wash Bags and one or two Handbags, at that time we had no idea what we were doing or even what we expected to achieve. It turns out that there probably wasn't a better way in London to start a small creative business with little or no risk or financial backing. It was perfect for people like us, we worked hard, made some cool products and took it one week at a time, and have had huge support from all of our customers.
we have developed our little market stall business into a design label that is fast growing in popularity, we do still have a stall at Greenwich Market, we were offered a permanent stall after just a few months of trading and have been located down the centre of the market ever since. We've managed to use the stall as a base for our company and developed from there, we have regular customers from all over the UK, Ireland, many parts of Europe, America and Japan.
every week and on bank holidays, our stall is easy to find, it's the one with the big "sophia & matt" sign above it, located down the middle level with the "Compendia Games" shop. During the week we're at the studio designing and making new products, you can always order our products by phone, online or by visiting us at Greenwich Market.
