We know terms & conditions are massively boring to read and are often written in some weird legal speak designed to protect the seller. Ours isn't. It's written in plain English (or as close as we can get it) and is simply there so that you are well informed at all times. There's nothing complicated in here, so please read on.

Our Shopping Policy

Our general attitude to business is a simple one, we want our customers to be happy with the service they receive from us, and happy with our products. So if you are not happy with any aspect of your shopping experience with us, please just tell us and we'll do what ever we can to rectify the problem. With that said, to date, we have not had any unhappy customers, and we plan to keep it that way. You should note that your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected by anything we write here. Sweet.

Data & Privacy

The information collected from you at the time you place an order (on you or those you gift to) will be stored in our database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payment. We do not store credit card details and we strictly do not share customer information with 3rd parties (even if they ask really nicely). This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, store and use your personal information when you use or interact with us.

When you order we collect:

  • Address (invoice and delivery)
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Payment details

When you contact us we will collect:

  • Name
  • Email address

How do we use this information:

  • To fulfil your order
  • To send information about new products prints and offers (if we have your permission, and you can opt-out at any time by contacting us)
  • Internal statistical analyses

Your data is kept safe and secure at all times and we do not under any circumstances share it with anyone else. We will only keep it for as long as is necessary.

We aim to supply you with your order within 3 to 7 working days from the date in which the order was placed (quite often it's 2–3 days). If for any reason there is a delay with your order a member of staff will be in touch with you immediatley. If your order is urgent please contact us on 0208 858 7732 to discuss your requirements.


Refunds, Cancelations & Complaints

You are free to cancel your order with us at any time. If you are unhappy in any way with your purchase, and ask for a refund or exchange within 30 days of your purchase we'll process your refund or exchange within 24 to 48 hours of your request. No questions asked. Please note that in the event of a refund or exchange, you are responsible for the method & cost of returning the product to us (unless we are at fault), we do recommend sending your item(s) back to us via a recorded delivery so that there is proof that the item(s) have been received safely, but it's entirely up to you.

All packages are sent requiring a signature. You must check the package carefully before you accept it. If you have any reason to suspect that your package has been opened or tampered with in any way or does not appear to be the correct size, shape or weight for what you ordered you must refuse to accept / sign for the delivery. We cannot be held liable for packages that have been opened or tampered with once they have been signed for. In the rare event you have an issue and have refused to accept a package we will immediately arrange an alternative delivery and launch an investigation. If a package has clearly been tampered with and you accept it we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange.

In the rare event where there is a dispute over a delivery we will launch a full investigation into the delivery chain. Once that investigation is complete will we be able to issue a refund or replacement.

Print Sections

We will try to match the exact section of print on display in our product photography, we will do our best to get as close as possible but can not always be exact, the reason for this is that our prints are approximately 60inches square and cut randomly, we cannot guarantee that the section on display will be available to us. You can always contact us to discuss your order rather than purchasing through our website if you are after something very specific, or just add a note in the notes section on the checkout page. If you are not happy with the product you receive you are free to send it back to us within 30 days of purchase and we'll either exchange the product for an alternative or give you full refund, which ever you would prefer.


We will only contact you in connection with your order and will always keep you well informed should we have any difficulties providing you with the products ordered. We will not email you with anything unrelated to the processing of your order without your permission.

Any contract for your purchase from Sophia & Matt Ltd is governed by and has to be interpreted under the Law of England, and you agree that such contract will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
